A Kindness Meal might be sent to someone experiencing illness, bereavement, loneliness, or simply going through
a difficult time and in need of a little extra care.
Friends, family members, neighbours or local organisations can
recommend someone they feel would appreciate a Kindness Meal. The meals are completely free and given as a gift.
For some, it may be a one-off gesture at just the right moment. Others, particularly those who are elderly or homebound,
may receive a meal every few weeks.
Kitchen of Kindness is not a meal-ordering or regular meal-delivery service.
It’s something much more personal: noticing when someone could use a little extra love and sending them
a hug from their community in the form of a meal.
